Radiology Exam Patient Information Maryland

Request an Appointment

RIA wants to make it easy for you to be our patient; to be comfortable, to feel cared for and to have your questions answered. We try to simplify the process so you can focus on getting the care you need.

In this section, you can access information on a number of important topics:

Preparing for your visit

This page provides instructions to assist you in preparing for your examination(s). Your referring physician's office should have indicated the particular exam for which you are scheduled.

Film release information

RIA offices require 24 hours advance notice to prepare CD's or films for sign-out by the patient.

After your visit

One of our board-certified Radiologists will review your images and send a report directly to your referring physician usually within 24 to 48 hours from the time of your exam.

Billing and insurance

At RIA, we participate with almost all local and national insurance plans. However you should understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.

Identity protection

RIA is committed to safeguarding your privacy and identity.

Patient documents

We have compiled a list of forms for your convenience, that you may need before your appointment.
